Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Healthy Skin, Natural Vitality

I believe a healthy glow begins with being healthy within. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is a gentle, whole-person approach to supporting vibrant skin by caring for both the face and your overall well-being.

My goal isn't to erase the signs of aging. It's to support the health of your skin, ease facial tension, and bring out the vitality that's already there—so you look refreshed, comfortable in your own skin, and maybe even like you just came back from a great vacation.

I practice the Mei Zen style of cosmetic acupuncture, combining specialized facial acupuncture with body points selected to support your overall health and individual constitution.

A Whole-Person Approach to Facial Rejuvenation

Chinese medicine has always understood that what we see on the outside is connected to what's happening within.

Rather than focusing exclusively on lines or wrinkles, I consider factors such as sleep, stress, digestion, circulation, and overall health when planning your treatment. Body acupuncture is an important part of every session because healthy skin doesn't exist separately from the rest of you.

This is what I appreciate most about facial rejuvenation acupuncture. We're not trying to make you look like someone else—or even like a younger version of yourself. We're supporting your health from within while helping your skin reflect that vitality on the outside.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture May Help

Treatment is designed to support:

  • Healthy skin tone and texture

  • Circulation to the face

  • Facial muscle relaxation

  • Collagen and elastin production

  • The appearance of fine lines

  • Puffiness

  • Facial tension

  • Overall skin vitality

Every person's skin and overall health are different, so we'll talk about your individual goals and what you can realistically expect from treatment.

What to Expect

Each session is both therapeutic and restorative. We'll begin with warm towels, followed by the placement of very fine acupuncture needles on the face along with acupuncture points elsewhere on the body.

I complete the treatment with carefully selected essential oils and facial massage, creating an experience that supports deep relaxation as well as skin health.

Even though facial rejuvenation is the focus, you're still receiving acupuncture as a whole person. I'll adjust your body acupuncture according to your constitution, overall health, and what your body is communicating that day.

A Series of Treatments

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture works differently from a one-time facial or cosmetic procedure. It's performed as a series so that the effects of treatment can build over time.

I generally recommend a series of ten 75-minute treatments, typically scheduled twice weekly for five weeks. Once the initial series is complete, occasional maintenance treatments may be recommended depending on your goals and response.

Because facial rejuvenation is a specialized treatment series, I offer it only to established patients who have completed an initial acupuncture visit with me. This allows me to assess your overall health and determine whether the treatment is appropriate for you. It also gives you a chance to experience my acupuncture style, ask questions, and decide whether you'd like to commit to the series.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is facial rejuvenation the same as cosmetic acupuncture?

The terms are often used interchangeably. I practice the Mei Zen style of cosmetic acupuncture, but I prefer the term facial rejuvenation because it better reflects what I'm trying to accomplish: supporting healthy skin and natural vitality rather than trying to stop or reverse aging.

How many treatments will I need?

I recommend an initial series of ten treatments, generally scheduled twice a week for five weeks. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is designed to have a cumulative effect, so completing the series is important for getting the greatest benefit from treatment.

Will I receive acupuncture only on my face?

No. Body acupuncture is an important part of every treatment. Chinese medicine views skin health within the context of your overall health, so I select body points according to your individual needs.

Does facial acupuncture hurt?

The needles I use on the face are extremely fine. You may feel some points as they're placed, but my acupuncture style is gentle and the overall treatment is designed to be deeply relaxing.

Is facial rejuvenation appropriate for everyone?

Not necessarily. There may be times when I recommend waiting, particularly if you're recovering from surgery, managing certain health concerns, or nursing. Your initial acupuncture visit gives me an opportunity to assess whether this is an appropriate time for you to begin treatment.

Feel Refreshed in Your Own Skin

Facial rejuvenation isn't about fighting the way you look as you age. It's about caring for the skin you have, supporting your health from within, and allowing that vitality to show on the outside. My goal is simple: for you to look refreshed, feel good, and still look entirely like yourself.

An initial acupuncture visit is the first step toward beginning a facial rejuvenation series.
